No Time Like the Present

Welp, as you can tell by my amazing ability to post the past month, we've been a little busy.  The house is like 98% finished.  We just need to do the basement now...which will not be happening for quite some time.  I have a billion pictures (that might be an exaggeration) to post, so I guess we will start where I left off.  Moving day!

Warning: Some of these may be repeats.  Like I said, it's been a while.

There really nothing quite like seeing a moving truck in front of your childhood home.

We did one load Friday night, and then did the big move Saturday.

Brian harassing the cat in an empty looking front room.

Completely empty bedroom.

Tucker and Raina keeping watch over the dwindling amount of stuff in the house.

Olive and Colby were not big fans of the physical move, but have greatly enjoyed getting to explore a new house.

Tucker and Raina working hard.

The new abode.  It looks a little more finished than this now.  We're eventually sodding the front yard, but we have to wait for this drought to end. Yay summer in St. Louis!

Steps from the driveway to the front door.  There is a stone pathway as well.

The underside of the front porch.  The bead board ceiling is actually gray. I love it!

The front yard a little more cleaned up.  The columns are finished now as well.

You know I had to post a picture of my closet.  It's pretty great.  St. Louis Closet Co. did a fantastic job!

That's all I'm going to post for now.  Hopefully this afternoon I can do another post with some more pictures.  I didn't want to overwhelm you too much.
