Catching Up

Well, well, well.


I knew it had been a while since I last posted, but I hadn't realized it had been quite this long.  But I am officially DONE with school for the semester, meaning that I have more time to update you all on the house.


There's good news and bad news. The good news is that the house is progressing crazy fast!  The bad news is two-fold: 1. I got a new phone and didn't think to switch my pictures over before, so now they're stuck. 2. I don't have a ton of pictures right now.


I have a few pictures, but they are pretty random.  There will be more tomorrow hopefully, I'm going to go to the house tomorrow and taking more pictures that will actually be up to date.

We have kitchen cabinets! These are just a few of them pre-installation.  They have since been installed and I believe the kitchen counters are being installed this week!

One of the window sills in the back room.  It's funny how something as simple as a window sill can really complete the room.

Jess, Norman, and Mom with some of the newly installed wood floors.  The new wood floors have now been installed through most of the first floor.  The reclaimed wood floors (wood that was already in the house) have all been installed, refinished, and stained.

My room.  I forgot to mention that the upstairs has now been painted!  Also, the closets have been installed thanks to St. Louis Closet Co!

I think this and the next picture are the only ones that are actually up to date. Growing up this retaining wall was made with railroad ties. I think the stone wall looks great!

Well those are all the pictures I have for now.  Hopefully I can figure out a way to get my other pictures off my old phone.  If you have any ideas, please let me know!! Be prepared for a BIG post tomorrow with lots of new pictures!
