This is Already Outdated...

Well hello! It's been a while since my last post.  I would be lying if I said it was because nothing has happened at the house.  I've just been insanely busy and that has no intention of stopping for another few weeks...basically until the end of the school year is going to be nutso for me.  Not fun.

Since I've been slacking on the posts as of late, some of these are kind of old, but it at least will get you caught up for now.  The biggest change, as you could tell from the last post, is that we have drywall up. There are actual walls! This unfortunately makes it a little difficult to take pictures.  If you thought it was hard trying to determine what was what in the pictures before, then you would definitely be struggling now. I tried to take a video tour of the house for you, but I'm having a tough time figuring out how to actually load it to my computer from my phone.

Aside from the walls, which have now been primed with their first layer of paint, we also have the start of the front porch.  It's going to be pretty neat.  This past week, they finished putting the new roof on, but I don't have any pictures of that yet {cough cough, Dad} so hopefully we can get some of those up sometime soon.

Here are all the new pictures as of 4/11:

Mom's new garden out front.  It's all blooming now so it's really pretty.  Most of the stuff was transplanted from our current house.

The start of the front porch.  It looks about the same still, but all the roof is the red color at the top.  Again, hopefully I'll be able to get a new picture of the outside soon.

The wood flooring is here! You might be able to tell from the boxes, but there are actually three different sizes of boards so that the flooring looks more staggered.  If I remember correctly, they are 3", 4", and 6".  Installation of the floors should start next week.

This entire box is just full of the staples to hold the floor down.  That's a lot of staples!
Raina and Tucker LOVE visiting the new house!

Sorry this pictures if kind of dark, these are the stairs from the main floor to the basement.  There are real stairs now instead of just extra pieces of plywood.

Bored + free wall + a pencil = a note for the workers

The happy home owners in their new windows.

Again, as soon as I have a moment to breathe, there will be more new pictures!
